A $ Ap Rocky and Rihanna will follow the family tradition when it comes to name to their next baby.
The couple revealed earlier this week that they are waiting for their third child in common, and now the 36 -year -old rapper – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – has confirmed that the baby will bear a name that begins by R, as well as his other children, Rza, two years old, and Riot, of 22 months.
Rocky appeared on the ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ program on Wednesday (25.05.07) and the presenter congratulated him for the baby’s news before asking: “Your first two children have names with ‘R’, obviously you and Rihanna have names with ‘R’. Do you think it is certain that the third will take a name with ‘R’?”
Rocky confirmed: “Of course.”
In another part of the interview, the interpreter of ‘Fashion Killa’ revealed that his beloved grandmother Cathy was partying all night at the party after the MET gala because he really wanted to meet his co -president, Colman Domingo.
He joked: “She was really wanting to go because she wanted to meet her husband.”
Rocky confirmed that Cathy stayed all night because “he was waiting for his BOO to appear”, but the star of ‘Sing Sing’ did not attend that “he did not know him unfortunately.”
Rihanna, 37, confirmed her pregnancy shortly before arriving at the MET gala publishing a portrait of photographer Miles Diggs in which she wore her growing belly.
The interpreter of ‘Diamonds’ arrived late at the MET Gala on Monday (05.05.25), which was held at the Metropolitan Art Museum in New York, wearing a set of Marc Jacobs – a gray bodice and a black skirt to the ground – in the middle of the theme of the show, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”.
Although Rihanna appeared after the floral carpet, Rocky arrived before and spoke with journalists about her baby’s news.
He told them: “The time has come to show people what we were cooking.”
He also said: “Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m glad everyone is happy for us because we are definitely happy.”
Rihanna is no stranger to announce a pregnancy in a world scenario.
The star confirmed that she was pregnant with Riot during her performance in the mid -Bowl 2023.
A few days later, Rihanna admitted that “everything changed” for the couple when they welcomed the world to their first child, but that the birth of Rza caused them to be “more united.”
In February 2023, the interpreter told Vogue British magazine: “We are the best friends with a baby. We have to be in tune, but it has always been like that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby, but I would not say that he has done anything other than unite more.”
