A Minecraft player found a house in his world that he had not built. The mystery took 14 years to resolve – Minecraft

In 2010, a Minecraft player uploaded a strange video to his YouTube channel. I had been like any other youtuber for a time, going up solo gameplays in a world that had recently created. They were videos of less than twenty minutes and quite standard games. Construction, collection and exploration of the world.
The video thirty was different, Deadsk1nmask (or simply Dead, as they called it in the community) proceeded to explain that something very strange had happened that time. Exploring an area of the world in which he had never been ran into a rarity, a natural wall that meant a sharp pump in the field. Above there was something more weird, a house that he had not built. Not only that, the house was furnished and full of barrels with supplies. Someone was living there.
Given this suggestive premise, The Minecraft community soon became a detective mode. Who had entered a game of a player? What mysterious entity was suspicious of the strange bug? Was Dead inventing everything? To this we must add the intrigue that supposed that everything happened in the Alfa version of the title, known for having strange bugs and a more disturbing atmosphere than modern versions.
However, he did not have to spend too much time until they discovered that he was not a Crepypasta or a conventional arg. In fact, unlike those, it could even be real. Dead did not try at any time to sweeten the mystery beyond that original video, and gave the community their save archives so that others could explore the world in detail.
Several theories were then shuffled. One was that Dead himself was prey to a strange sauce bugbut it was a construction too specific to have been created procedurally. Another was that it was really the work of an unknown player, either by a bug that when interacting in multiplayer mode had transferred to him part of his departure in some way, or because the copy of Minecraft that he owned was corrupt from the beginning.
Investigating between metadata
The mystery turned out to be much more complex than the Minecraft average player could cover. The investigation was extended for years for a community that more than searching between legends, began to learn exactly how Minecraft worked between scenes, especially in terms of saving files, who learned that they were structured in “pieces” that referred to procedural creation.
The exploration of others helped verify that there was no trap or cardboard. In the community they used tools to map the entire terrain, revealing a perfectly normal world except that irregularity. The video was not false, everything Dead had taught was just where he had shown it. By how Minecraft’s saving files work, Metadata revealed that Dead had really created that world and had not been transferred.

As a detective in a film that at the last moment discovers that there was a piece that had not considered, the solution to the entire mystery ended up being as unexpected as evident. 14 years later the YouTuber Trone (Y) Sauce resolved the mystery. He did it through another user’s post in a Minecraft forum that uploaded only one day later from Dead’s video in 2010.
One of the most considered theories turned out to be true. The house had been built by another person. Who specifically is still unknown, but a user named Zappa showed evidence of having seen the same house in one of their worlds. It was a saved bug for acquiring a pirate copy of the game, which could perfectly have acquired Dead. It was also one of those cases in which the community preferred to keep the trip and not destiny. In the video in which he explained his resolution, Trone (Y) Sauce reported that he had also encountered many strange situations in his research that had no easy explanation.
