In the last chapter of ‘The Promise’, Rómulo explains to Cruz why he did not kill Leocadia and he assures that he does not regret it. Manuel tries to get Cruz to talk to Catalina so she doesn’t leave, but she refuses. Then Catalina tells her brother about the plan Cruz hatched with Pelayo to get her out of the way. Leocadia advises Jana not to let herself be trampled. Jana tells Manuel about her mother’s rudeness.
Catalina asks Curro to help her father with the management of ‘La Promesa’ and assures Alonso that she will be fine. Faced with a bad response from Santos, Ricardo tells Pía and Rómulo that Petra has told everything, which makes Pía take action on the matter. Samuel returns from the hospital and settles in La Promesa. Finally Lope and Marcelo manage to open the door to the passage.
