Adrián Lomello new Territorial Director for the Americas – El Atlántico

The World Network of Religious and Spiritual Tourism Destinations announced the appointment of Adrián Lomello as the new Territorial Director for the Americas. This outstanding professional, with more than 40 years of experience in communication, education and strategic consulting, assumes the leadership of this key region for the development of religious and spiritual tourism. His extensive career includes the direction of communication strategies and innovative technological initiatives that will strengthen the Network’s mission.

In the words of the general director of the network, the incorporation of Mr. Lomello to the team marks a key moment in the exponential development of the network on that continent, given that, currently, it already has 13 coordinators in 13 countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, Peru, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay, Mexico and Uruguay and the possibilities are endless.

The challenge faced by the new territorial director for the American continent involves dialogue with the Catholic Church but also with the interlocutors of syncretism and Latin spirituality, the coordination of the actions of each country, leadership, organization of events, developments of strategic plans, training and professionalization and will also have the task of articulating agreements and actions with business union entities and the governments of the different countries to articulate proposals that integrate religious tourism with local development that, without Without a doubt, Mr. Lomello will develop with the highest standard of professionalism, judgment and know-how and that, without a doubt, predicts many successes for the global network on that continent.

Ms. Pilar Valdés, general director of the Network, has also announced that she will soon introduce herself to the new National Coordinator for Guatemala and the Territorial Director for Europe, a continent in which the World Network plans to open throughout the current year 2025. These additions underline the Network’s commitment to consolidating its global leadership in the promotion of religious and spiritual tourism.

Adrián Lomello has a degree in Social Communication from the National University of Rosario and a Master’s degree in New Information and Communication Technologies from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), Spain. In addition, he is a specialist in educational television from the Catholic University of Chile and a National Announcer accredited by the ISER.

He has led institutional communication projects in universities, NGOs and government organizations. Among his most notable roles are communication management at institutions such as the FASTA University and the Santo Tomás University of Chile, in addition to his participation as an expert consultant in the BID/CAME program for the development of Open Sky Shopping Centers.

In the academic field, he has directed undergraduate and graduate programs in communication and tourism, and is recognized for implementing innovative e-learning systems. Lomello also founded SVEG Desarrollos SRL, a pioneering company in the development of commercial portals and digital strategies.

His experience in religious tourism includes his role as Episcopal Delegate for Communications of the Diocese of Mar del Plata and his collaboration in the design of communication strategies for organizations linked to the Church.
