Alejandro Sanz announces a song with Shakira on his new album

The Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz announced to his followers the launch of an EP that will premiere on May 23. One of the biggest surprises of this new album is a collaboration with Colombian singer Shakira, a friend of Alejandro Sanz for many years and with whom she worked on the successful song ‘La Tortura’ 20 years ago.

Shakira and Alejandro Sanz made one of the most successful songs of their career together. In 2005 they premiered ‘The torture’ a sensual pop song whose music video became one of the most watched of the year for the great chemistry of both artists. There was so much the closeness that they showed in the video that for years there were rumors that there was a romance between them, but in reality what there is is a great friendship.

At the age of 20 years of the release of ‘La Tortura’, Shakira invited Alejandro Sanz to the first concert of his tour ‘Women no longer cry’ in the United States that started on May 13 in Charlotte.

It was a great moment for the fans of both artist who for years had hoped to see them together to interpret this great success of the 2000. For years the fans waited for Shakira and Alejandro Sanz to do another song together, but it was not possible until now.

Through his social networks, Alejandro Sanz announced the launch of his EP ‘And now what?’ which will feature a song in collaboration with Shakira called ‘Bésame’.

The fact that Alejandro Sanz and Shakira do music again together excited the fans of both who soon express their happiness in social networks.

The EP has six themes. Other artists who are part of this new Spanish musical work are the Colombian Manuel Turizo in the song ‘What would it be’ and the Mexican band Grupo Frontera in the song ‘Today I do not feel good’.

The new musical work will come to light on May 23 on all musical platforms. In addition to his new album, a few days ago he announced his tour ‘and now what?’ For several cities in Mexico.
