Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez dream of forming a family: “I want to be dad, if God wants”

Musical producer Benny Blanco has opened his heart in a recent interview with Instylerevealing that he and his fiancee, singer and actress Selena Gomez, are contemplating to take another step in her love story: form a family.
“I love children; I love being uncle. I want to be dad, if God wants,” said Blanco, 37, in an intimate conversation published Wednesday. The artist said he is “dreaming and praying every day” so that this desire will come true, which has caused a wave of enthusiasm between his followers and those of Gomez.
Blanco also reflected on his evolution as a couple and the learning obtained throughout his love life. One of the pillars in his personal growth has been his mother, whom he described as a divorced woman who taught him, honestly, “how the female mind works.”
“I not only learned from her,” he added, “I also observed my friends a lot. I see them doing something stupid and I think: ‘My God, I will never do that in a relationship.”
Among the lessons that value the most highlights the importance of active listening: “I think that people’s biggest problem, especially men, is not listening to all the time … a woman will tell you exactly what she needs.” And with a touch of humor and honesty, he concluded: “Do you know how many frogs I had to kiss to get to Selena?”
The couple confirmed their relationship in December 2023 and promised a year later. Selena Gomez, 32, had already shared in previous interviews her desire to be a mother, although she acknowledged that her medical condition – the lupus – may require considering alternatives such as subrogation or adoption.
With a solid career and an increasingly strong affective bond, Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez are in a crucial stage, in which love, emotional maturity and the desire to form a family project them as one of the most stable and inspiring couples of current entertainment.
