Billie Eilish was victorious in the seven nominations she obtained in the 2025 edition of the American Music Awards.
Presented by Jennifer Lopez, Los Amas were held on May 26 to Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where this year they were also recognized for their career, artists such as: Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart and Zac Brown.
Janet Jackson received the icon award, Rod Stewart received the Trajectory Award and Zac Brown was honored with the Vaice Veterans inaugural Prize.
Kendrick Lamar headed the nominations with 10, while Post Malone had eight. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey had seven nominations each. Tied with six nominations each, were Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, Sza and Taylor Swift.
Billie Eilish left as the great winner of the night, when obtaining her seven nominations, including artist of the year, song of the year and album of the year. Eilish was not present at the awards and instead sent video speeches thanking his fans.
Gracie Abrams won the revelation artist award of the year, while Eminem surpassed Kendrick Lamar in the favorite hip-hop male artist categories and favorite hip-hop album. Beyonc茅 won the favorite country album award and female artist of favorite country, while Post Malone was crowned as a favorite country artist. SZA won the favorite R&B song award and female artist of R&B favorite.
In other parts of the awards ceremony, the presenter Jennifer L贸pez, the special winners Janet Jackson and Rod Stewart, as well as Benson Boone, Gwen Stefani, Rene茅 Rapp, Blake Shelton and more.
