Cancel Katy Perry concerts in Guadalajara

Mexico City, April 21 (El Universal) .- A few hours after Katy Perry’s visit to Mexico, the singer’s fans have received very bad news; And, two of the concerts of his “The Lifes Tour” tour were definitively canceled.

The news was released a few hours ago through a statement released by the promoter Zignia Live, where they announced that the affected shows are scheduled in the Guadalajara sand on May 1 and 2.

As explained by the company, the construction of the Guadalajara Arena (where Perry would be presented) will not be completed for the agreed date; So it would be insecure to perform the event:

“The Guadalajara Arena will not be completed with the security and comfort standards for the public and our artists,” reads the text.

They also demarted Perry and his team from all responsibility and requested the understanding of the public and fans.

“We seek to offer you shows with the quality and security that you deserve and although we have made our greatest effort, we are not yet completely ready to receive them.”

But the “Firework” interpreter is not the only one affected; Intocable and Carlos Rivera will not be able to comply with the commitments they have already agreed.

For those who acquired tickets for these concerts, Zignia informed that the reimbursement process will be done automatically for those who have made their purchase via the web; While, those who acquired their entry in a physical way must send an email to (Email Protected) as of April 22.

The message must include an official identification and a complete image of the accesses.

Although the news took fans by surprise, not everything is bad news. Monterrey and CDMX concerts are still standing. The first date of this tour is scheduled for April 23 at the Mexico City Arena.
