Cancela Shakira Show in Boston due to structural problems

Mexico City.- The concert that Shakira had scheduled for Thursday night in Fenway Park, in Boston, United States, was canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances,” the enclosure announced hours before the show.
According to the TMZ portal, the presentations of Jason Aldean and Brooks & Dunn, scheduled for this Friday, May 30 in the park, were also canceled.
According to the promoter of the event, Live Nation, “structural elements were identified that did not meet the standards”, so the decision was made to interrupt the shows. The problems were detected during a routine review prior to the Colombian show, according to Live Nation, which also assured that “all team members are safe.”
“Refunds will be available at the point of purchase,” said a spokesman for Fenway Concerts in a press release, this Thursday. “Excuse the inconvenience.”
Shakira planned to appear in Fenway Park as part of their world tour “Women no longer cry World Tour”, a show in which Wyclef Jean would have as a special guest, to sing to the duet the success “Hips Don’t Lie”. The announcement was made a few hours before the start of the concert, so some fans had already arrived in the park. Several of them shared to local media their disappointment for the change of plans, and it is not yet known when the recitals will be reprogrammed. Shakira’s next performance is scheduled for this Saturday, May 31 at the Nationals Park of Washington
