Cardi B must pay offset support after judicial ruling in Georgia

Atlanta, Georgia – In an unexpected turn within the divorce process between the Cardi B and Offset rappers, a judge of the state of Georgia failed in favor of the male artist, ordering that Cardi B must pay marital maintenance to his ex -husband.

According to sources close to the case, Offset justified its conjugal pension request, arguing a marked patrimonial difference between both artists. While the heritage of Cardi B is estimated between 80 and 100 million dollars, the offset is around 30 million. The court accepted the lawsuit, considering the lifestyle that both maintained during the marriage.

Although judicial documents do not specify the exact amount that Cardi B must transfer, the ruling establishes that the rapper must make regular payments as part of the pension.

In addition to the financial issue, the judge also resolved issues related to the custody of the three children of the couple. A shared legal custody was ruled, although with the main residence together with Cardi B. According to reports, it was the offset itself who proposed this measure, highlighting the stability that children would have to remain with their mother.

Regarding legal expenses, the Court ordered that both parties take over their own costs, in accordance with the previous agreement between the artists.

So far, neither has issued public statements about the verdict. The separation marks the closure of a relationship marked by ups and downs since its inception in 2017. In the midst of these changes, Cardi B has recently been seen in the company of the NFL Stefon Diggs player, which has fanned rumors about a possible new romance.
