Christopher Uckermann connects spirituality and music
Living in a hurry, in the middle of a highly demanding tour as part of RBDfilling stadiums and singing before thousands of fans was part of a stage that Christopher Uckermann He decided he didn’t want any more.
“I was very stressed, anxious, I wanted to relax, focus, and I started training again, meditating and contemplating, living in the present,” says the singer in an interview for THE UNIVERSAL.
Now, in his new role as a soloist, Christopher addresses topics such as openness, masculinity, and love in interpersonal relationships in songs like “Bien bien singular”, “Pase lo que happen”, and “Los hombres cry”.

“I wanted to talk about opening up to others, that’s how ‘Bien bien singular’ was born, which we recorded in 24 hours and that’s how it came out of the studio, and also talk about how love has made me who I am,” he says.
“In ‘Men Cry’ it was also about showing the part of reconfiguring our masculinities, and how important those around you are to get ahead; It is also a song linked to water and how it helps you heal, cleanses you, and takes away what is harmful.”
This exploration of themes is accompanied by slight experimentation at a sound level, where Uckermann took care of the hertz of a sound in the melodies of his songs, that is, in physical terms, the frequencies with which a sound wave repeats, with the intention to make healing music.
“It’s something I want to do, explore, delve into music to heal, now we only try a little but later I would like to make an album just about that,” he says.
In case concepts were needed in his role as a soloist, Uckermann approaches numerology, an esoteric discipline that is based on the belief that numbers are mathematical tools and have symbolic power.
“Each song will be related to a specific number in the track of the songs that will make up the next album, for example in number two we want to portray sensitivity and empathy. Each number on the album will have a direct symbolic relationship,” he says.
Christopher shares that, according to his date of birth, he is number 10.
The full album will be released in early 2025, while he will continue releasing singles on platforms as he has done with the three that he now has as a solo artist and that are already on Spotify.
