The Brotherhood of the Jews has organized the COFRADE CULTURAL CYCLE “LA MERCED”a cycle of conferences with the objective of divulge The history, heritage and spirituality of the brotherhood itself.
The conferences will start the next Thursday, February 13with the presentation of the Doctor in Sevillian Art History Andrés Luque Teruel. Under the title of “Juan Manuel Rodríguez Ojeda and the Brotherhood of the Jews”the author of several Holy Week books will treat the binomial between the artist and the Huelva brotherhood.
“Iconography and symbology of the Virgen de los Dolores in the Hdad of the Jews of Huelva” It will be the second of the presentations of this cycle. Will be taught by José de León Calzadoart historian and conservative of heritage. It will be the Wednesday, March 5.
