Colombia present at the Met Gala: Maluma joined Shakira and J Balvin to shine in the fashion gala

Maluma, dressed by designer Willy Chavarría, arrived at the event with a stylistic proposal that evoked the plumage of the real turkeys, especially for his color palette, his bright textures and his scenic bearing. In registered images, You can see the artist wearing a long metal texture coatenthaled to the body, with classic flaps and a preparation that reflects custom work, in line with the theme of the event.

The coat presented a brilliant surface, with a satin finish in emerald green and blue oil tones, which varied according to the angle of light, thanks to a jacquard effect that added volume and relief to textiles.
In addition to Maluma, other Colombians also made a presence in the event, such as Shakira and J Balvin, They arrived previously. However, the appearance of the reggaeton was one of the most commented.
In this edition of the event, the Barranquillera chose a pink tone that did not go unnoticed by photographers and generated multiple reactions on digital platforms. His appearance coincided with an important stage in his career, since he is close to start with his tour of Women no longer cry World Tour in various cities in the United States.
For his part, the renowned native artist of Medellín arrived accompanied by his partner, Valentina Ferrer, wearing a completely pink suit that included a hat with an unusual design, characterized by a fallen wing to a single side. The set was complemented with a prominent size tie, in addition to other decorative elements that captured attention.

Both artists opted for a similar range of colors, which led to think that Maluma would follow the same chromatic line in their clothing, as a symbolic form of unity among Colombian representatives; However, his final choice deviated from that expectation.
Continuing with Maluma’s locker room, the coat as well as its pants, in addition to its striking color, included details such as a green brooch with golden edges located in the flap, which reinforced the idea that the whole was carefully designed to adapt to the label of the event, which combines fashion with theatricality.
Another element that completed his stylistic proposal was a wide wing hat, which the artist held in his right hand. The hat was black and was adorned with a large flower in lilac tone or lavender, made of cloth, positioned on one of the sides.

In the other hand, Maluma held a real rose of the same color, which generated an aesthetic continuity between artificial and natural ornament.
At all times he was accompanied by his designer, who did choose a pink suit. Both toured the emblematic carpet of the event, recognized for gathering the most unique stylistic proposals of international figures such as Zendaya, Bad Bunny, Blake Lively and the Kardashian sisters.
