The stars of the movie Wicked, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grandethey will resume their roles in the film saga to interpret some songs of the musical in a special live For television that the NBC chain will broadcast in November this year.
Earivo and Grande will be accompanied by their castmates and some surprise guests for a special filmed at the Peacock theater in Los Angeles, as announced by director Jon M. Chu yesterday during the UPFRONT presentation of NBCuniversal.

According to Variety, the special will be broadcast by the NBC chain and will be broadcast the next day by the PEACOCK streaming platform, although an official premiere date has not yet been set. It is also not known when it can be seen outside the United States.
“(Earivo and big) will play live many of the songs of the first film and perhaps, only perhaps, also a bit of the second, for an entertainment night that we believe that, as they say in Oz, ‘Emotiono,” Chu said in the presentation.
As prior to the Wicked premiere: For Good, whose premiere is scheduled for November 21 of this year, Chu also presented on Monday the first trailer of the sequel at the Nbcuniversal event, in the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The advance
