David Schwimmer premieres new series: the mystery of the twins and an unsolved case
The universe of Goosebumpsbased on the iconic literary saga of R.L. Stineexpands with a new season titled Goosebumps: The Disappearance.The series has already premiered its eight episodes on the platform Disney+. This new chapter of the franchise combines mystery, horror and family drama, with a cast led by David Schwimmerrecognized for his role as Ross in Friends, who here plays Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor caught between science and mystery.
The plot of Goosebumps: The Disappearance focuses on Devin and Cecetwins who face changes in their lives after the divorce of their father, Anthony. As they try to adapt to their new reality, they discover an imminent threat that leads them to unearth dark family secrets. The events are intertwined with the chilling disappearance of four teenagers in 1994, a mystery that the protagonists must solve together with their friends. Alex, C.J. and Frankie.
The narrative also explores the past of Anthony Brewer, who, in addition to dealing with his recent divorce, faces memories of his brother who disappeared three decades ago.
