Jennifer Lopez’s plans to present the American Music Awards almost vanished after suffering a serious injury.
On Tuesday, the 55 -year -old singer and actress revealed on Instagram Stories that her face was injured while rehearsing on stage for the next awards ceremony.
The injury was so serious that it required suture points, but Jennifer was lucky, since Dr. Jason Diamond, plastic surgeon of celebrities, was present to attend it.
Jennifer, whose ex -boyfriend Diddy is being tried in a federal court for charges of extortion and sexual trafficking, gave the news cryptically with a foreground of her face where she was seen holding an ice compress on her nose and red eye.
“So this happened,” he wrote.
In a later photo, he clarified the seriousness of his injury and said that it happened “during the essays of @amas.”
The second foreground showed it without ice compress and with a bleeding wound just above the bridge of the nose, slightly to the side.
His red nose also seemed swollen after the injury, and wore informal gray sportswear after a day of actions between racks.
While a face injury could be devastating for her work as a presenter, as well as for her career in general, she received help from a recognized medical professional just in time.
A third publication on Tuesday revealed that the mishap in the essay had occurred a week before, and J. proved to be almost completely recovered.
The Hustlers star showed a soft smile when posing for a photo with Dr. Jason Diamond, Beverly Hills Facial Plastic Surgeon, who was one of the ex -stars of reality Dr. 90210.
Diamond, who wore a shirt that promoted some of his products, smiled radiantly with Lopez while she showed her work.
He seemed to have a slight discoloration on the nose where the wound had been, but in general he looked as before, and with almost two more weeks to heal before the transmission.
“Thank you for suturing me, Dr. Diamond,” he wrote in the photo foot. “A week later and a lot of ice, I’m like new.”
