Donald Trump holds a rally in Washington hours before his inauguration: “We are going to stop the invasion of our borders”
The elected president of the United States, donald trumppromised this Sunday to end the “invasion” that in his opinion represents illegal immigration and promised to solve “each and every one of the crises” in the country, at a rally in Washington on the eve of his inauguration.
“We are going to stop the invasion of our borders,” he told a crowd gathered at Washington’s Capital One Arena, to loud cheers.
Likewise, he said that he will act with “historical speed and force” as soon as he takes office as president of the United States on Monday.
“Starting tomorrow, I will act with historic speed and force and I will solve each of the crises our country faces. We have to do it,” he said to the crowd.
For his part, the American magnate maintained that “TikTok must be saved”which this Sunday stopped working for a couple of hours due to a ban enacted by the Government. However, this Sunday, before the event in Washington, Trump himself announced that he will issue a decree on Monday to postpone the ban on the social network.
Immediately afterwards, TikTok announced that it had begun the process of restoring its services to its North American users.
“Frankly, we have no choice, we have to save it,” said the new head of state.
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, who will lead a cost-cutting campaign in the new US government during Trump’s term, promised to make America strong “for centuries”.
“This victory is the beginning (…) What matters from now on is really making significant changes, introducing those changes and laying the foundation for America to be strong for a century, for centuries, forever,” Musk said to Trump supporters.
