The fans dressed in the typical festival clothing: from shorts and miniskirts and short -sleeved blouses, hats and makeup made. There were also many flags from the countries of origin of the attendees, from Mexico to Colombia.

Heading the billboard, Shakira will offer a two -hour show, part of his world tour “Women no longer cry”, which will take female empowerment to the main stage.

The 48 -year -old Colombian pop star is currently the most popular Latin artist in the world. Having brought Latin pop to new heights since its irruption in the crossover market, the “wolf” is expected to interpret its classic successes of its more than 30 years of career.

Other performances on Saturday’s billboard include Dei V, Óscar Maydon, Alfa and Archangel. This year’s festival includes two completely new scenarios, the scenario La Fuente and La Plaza, which highlights local musicians and DJs.

Next, you will find a review of the presentations of Dei V, Óscar Maydon, Archangel, Weight Feather and Shakira, as they act.

Dei v

The Puerto Rican singer -songwriter Dei V took the stage 20 minutes before the scheduled start time, wearing a Derick Rose shirt.

Although Dei V offered a short presentation, his faithful followers knew each word. He interpreted many of his great successes, including “Who is Dei V?” —Cancion with which the singer introduced his audience – and “You $$ I”.

Dei V also performed the song “Sirena” of his latest album, “Los Flavorz.”

The audience vibrated more strongly with “Veldá”, one of the songs of the album released in January of Bad Bunny, “I had to throw more photos.” He performed the first stanza before leaving the stage quickly after less than 25 minutes of his set that was originally planned for 30 minutes.

Óscar Maydon

The song “Madonna” by Oscar Maydon welcomed the groups of young people who were arriving at Grant Park the first day of the Dream Music Festival. The jams in the ranks that complicated last year’s festival for general admission attendees were considerably reduced; The sky was clear and the sun shone while Maydon shouted “Long live Mexico, bastards!”

With a completely white outfit that wore his initials stamped on his vest’s back and an enabling belt, Maydon opened and closed his set with “Madonna”, a collaboration with the star of runs lying Natanael Cano under the humble ranch label.

Each of the vocalists born in Mexico has received death threats due to their fame. According to reports, these threats led Maydon to cancel a concert in February in Aguascalientes.

Given the complications with the visas that some Mexican artists have seen under the Trump administration, the fans expressed concern about the sudden cancellation of the Mexican artists of this year’s programming – as was the case of the cheerful of the ravine. This group was eliminated from the Michelada Fest weeks before the total cancellation of the festival, and the organizers cited complications with visas as one of the main causes.

Even so, the dreams of dreams continued to play the narcocorrido “the owner of the palenque” of Alegres del Barranco.

The collaborations have been crucial for Maydon’s rapid rise to fame, and interpreted the majority in dreams. Among his most popular songs are “Mercedes” with Becky G, “Weekend” with Junior H and “Your Wedding” with governed force.

Although “your wedding” generated criticism in social networks for its lyrics that alludes to feminicide and suicide, the song was positioned in the number one of Spotify Mexico and remains online trend.
