This Saturday, magnate Elon Musk launched harsh criticism of the government of Nicolás Maduro, stating that He is “harming” the people of Venezuela, in the same way that his predecessor, Hugo Chávez, did.
Musk, known for his direct social media posts, posted on his X account: “Maduro is harming the people of Venezuela, just like his predecessor.”
This comment was made in response to an article by the Axios news agency. Which revealed details of the intentions of the team of advisors to the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, in relation to the situation in Venezuela.

Elon Musk spoke out again against Maduro
According to information cited by Axios, some Trump advisers believe that Maduro could follow a path similar to that of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, who was recently overthrown.
Even an advisor close to Trump’s team noted: “We wouldn’t mind in the least to see Maduro being Assad’s neighbor in Moscow.”
This is not the first time that Elon Musk has spoken out regarding the Venezuelan political situation. In fact, on several occasions he has mentioned the serious economic and social crisis that has increased with Maduro’s leadership.
Likewise, international criticism against the Venezuelan government, especially for its management of the economy, political repression and human rights violations, has been constant since Maduro assumed power in 2013 after the death of Hugo Chávez.
