Fan interrupts Katy Perry’s show in Sydney during her “Lifesta” 2025 tour

Katy Perry lived an unexpected moment during her presentation at Sydney, when a fan invaded the stage while sanging her “Hot N Cold” success. This incident, which surprised both the singer and the public, made it clear that concert security remains a crucial issue for artists.

While Perry gave everything in the Qudos Bank Arena as part of his world tour “Lifestimes” 2025, a fan named Johnson Wen approached abruptly and hugged her, even making the famous “Floss” dance on stage. Perry moved away and joked: “There will never be another show like this, so enjoy it!” Despite the security intervention, the fan output took more than expected, which caused the singer to ask: “What the hell is happening?”

Johnson Wen, known for his surprising appearances in Shows for his Tiktok account (@pyjamamann), had already interrupted concerts from The Weeknd and The Chainsmokers. After the incident, the New South Wales Police arrested him and accused him of “entering a closed land and obstructing a person in the performance of his work.” Wen received probation and was banned from Sydney Olympic Park for six months.

This event occurs while Katy Perry continues to promote her album “143” (2024), which has received mixed criticism, and after his controversial trip to the space last April to reveal the list of songs on his tour, an act criticized for being considered “luxury tourism.” The tour will continue in the United Kingdom from October, with a social commitment to donate part of the profits to support independent musical spaces.

Amid everything, Katy Perry has also launched a positive message to her fans on how to face hatred on social networks, demonstrating that she is still connected to her audience despite the controversies.
