Fraternal Agape at the Archbishopric of the Holy Conception Spirituality Center

About 20 people participated in the Fraternal Agape held on the afternoon of Friday, January 10 at the San Luis Gonzaga Spirituality Center from Chiguayante.

The meeting began with the projection of a video about the Epiphanyafter which the participants met at two tables to share around three questions: What teaching does the attitude of the Three Wise Men teach us regarding the search for the King of the Jews? What values does the history of the Three Wise Men? And what teaching regarding our spiritual life does the story of the Three Wise Men leave us?

The person in charge of the Spirituality Center, sister Marisol Seguelstated that although initially a fraternal agape was going to be held at Christmas, “in the end it changed to the beginning of the spiritual year 2025 with a fraternal agape with the theme of Epiphany.”

Epiphany Fraternal Agape

“The agape is a one hundred percent synodal activity, because it is a fraternal meeting with brothers with whom we share the same faith in God. This agape led us to look at our life of search for God and his will, in the light of the teachings of the path of the Three Wise Men”highlighted Sister Marisol.

In that context, he commented that during the meeting “we made a parallel between our lives and theirs. Discovering in everyone’s sharing the manifestation of God in one’s own personal history.”

“The sharing, the welcome, the presence of the Holy Spirit, made this meeting very enriching for all who participated. Living our life of faith is enjoyed with delicious food and sincere sharing, which helps us grow in God,” he pointed out.

Among those who participated in this activity was María Jara, who noted that she found this meeting “extremely enriching, because after having witnessed a video about the Three Wise Men, we shared and made a parallel with our lives, and we realized that there is a lot in common when going to meet the Lord.”

“Those of us who are here did not know each other, but we ended with brotherly love and we leave filled with the presence of God,” he added.

Likewise, Marcia Acuña said that she found him “very good and very assertive. I am always looking to feed back my faith and what better than with these instances, especially with the Epiphany, which is a manifestation. So, at least for me, the objective has been met and I appreciate the invitation.”
