Since assuming the presidency on January 20, Donald Trump showed his severe stance and signed a series of orders. Among them, promised to crack down on immigration.
Such decrees, according to ‘CNN’, “would give the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency more freedom to carry out enforcement actions in sensitive areas.”
Even, in compliance with its measures, on Friday, January 24, the arrival of the first flights from the United States to Guatemala was recorded, two operated on military aircraft and one charter, according to the Guatemalan Migration Institute (IGM).
Mexico denies entry of US plane with deportees
According to information from the ‘NBC News’ channel, Mexico denied the landing of a US military plane since last Thursday, January 23.
According to the media, which cites two officials from the US Department of Defense and another person close to the event, two Air Force C-17 planes, with about 80 people on board each, left on Thursday night from USA to Guatemala. A third flight to Mexico did not take off.
The network reported that a White House official said the Mexico-bound plane had an “administrative issue” that was quickly resolved.
