The upcoming movie “Nocturnal” has released new stills of Ha Jung Woo and Kim Nam Gil!
“Nocturnal” tells the story of Bae Min Tae (Ha Jung Woo), who embarks on a quest to discover the truth about the mysterious death of his younger brother, the disappearance of his brother’s wife, and the novel that predicted the incident. .
The new stills show a tense confrontation between Min Tae, who seeks the truth behind his brother’s death while tracking down his missing sister-in-law Moon Young (Yoo Da In), and Ho Ryung (Kim Nam Gil), who must find Moon Young to protect his novel and his reputation.
One of the standout scenes is the one that shows Min Tae grabbing Ho Ryung by the neck as if he were interrogating him. Min Tae glares coldly at Ho Ryung, who seems confused and caught in the chaos. This moment raises questions about the connection between Ho Ryung’s novel and the death of Min Tae’s brother.
Another memorable scene occurs when the two characters confront each other again. After following some hidden clues, Min Tae arrives at a remote place, where he finds Ho Ryung waiting for him as if it were a tacit agreement. Ho Ryung seems to know something, but his intentions remain unclear, as Min Tae’s anger grows. This powerful confrontation highlights the intense performances of Ha Jung Woo and Kim Nam Gil.
Ha Jung Woo described the relationship between Min Tae and Ho Ryung saying, “It seemed like oil and water, the characters didn’t mix at all. “That dynamic was really intriguing.” He also praised Kim Nam Gil’s performance, adding, “Kim Nam Gil conveyed Ho Ryung’s mysterious qualities with a subtle performance and kept the character grounded.”
