JD Vance, under fire from the far right because of marriage
JD Vance has come under scrutiny due to Usha’s Indian ancestry. Far-right commentators have expressed skepticism about his stance on immigration, suggesting that his wife’s ethnicity could influence his policies. Conservative pundit Stew Peters went so far as to suggest that an “Indian coup” was underway in the United States, pointing to Usha Vance’s ethnicity as evidence.
White supremacist Nick Fuentes also attacked the Vances for their interracial marriage, casting doubt on whether the new vice president would “support white identity” as a result. “I think the guy is a complete loser,” Vance responded. “Certainly, I disavow it,” he added.
