Identify human remains near Taylor Swift’s house

After weeks of uncertainty, Rhode Island authorities confirmed the identity of the human remains found last month on a beach near the house of singer Taylor Swift, in the exclusive coastal neighborhood of Watch Hill, Westerly.

According to the South Kingstown Police Department, the remains (which included a bone identified as a femur) belong to Eric Wein, a 31 -year -old man from Massachusetts, reported as disappeared since April 18. The State Forensic Doctor’s office managed to establish its identity after performing the relevant forensic tests.

The finding, occurred in mid -May, caused speculation between neighbors and media, particularly due to the proximity of the place with the Swift mansion, known as High Watch, which was acquired by the artist in 2013 for 17.7 million dollars. However, the authorities stressed that there is no relationship between the celebrity and the case.

Despite the initial rumors about the possibility of a serial murderer in the area, Westerly police chief Paul Gingerella ruled out that theory, underlining that there are no indications of crime and that each case must be analyzed separately.

The discovery has generated restlessness in the community, recognized for their tranquility and security. Local authorities continue investigations and have ensured that they remain committed to preserving the well -being of residents. So far, Taylor Swift has not issued any public statement about what happened.
