In this edition, the Spirituality Forum addresses ‘resting in who we are’
The new edition of the Spirituality Forum of the Popular University of La Rioja will address the topic ‘Rest in who we are’. The forum will be held on January 25 and 26 at Riojaforum and tickets can be purchased starting next Tuesday, November 26 through www.universidadpopular.es and, starting Wednesday, November 27, at the Riojafórum box office. An event that each year brings together, since 2013, 1,200 people from La Rioja and the rest of the country.
The coordinator of the Forum, Ana María de las Heras, presented this Thursday the new edition in which the philosopher with a wisdom approach, Luisa López Cabrejas, will participate; Advaita Vedanta philosopher Pedro Brañas; the ecologist Charo Morán; the neuroscientist Gustavo G. Diez; and the Mindfulness specialist Javier García Campayo.
The UPL Meditation professor and Forum coordinator, Ana María de Las Heras, explained that “based on the fact that spirituality is the deep dimension of the human being, this year we have chosen the theme “Rest in who we are.” From five points of view of renowned speakers, the idea that we are plenitude will be addressed, but the difficulty in being aware of this lies in the fact that we get lost in the contents of the experience, which are changing. If we recognize what remains, we can rest in who we are.”
