Jeff Goldblum was ‘stupefact’ when he met George Clooney
Jeff Goldblum was “stunned” when he met George Clooney.
The 72 -year -old actor has worked with stars such as Julia Roberts, Matthew Broderick and Ariana Grande over her decades in the cinema, but admitted that she was very surprised when she saw the protagonist of Ticket to Paradise between racks in her Broadway show, Good Night, and Good Luck, next to the legend of the Beatles McCartney.
During an emission of the Late Night with Seth Meyers program, he said: “I was very excited. After the work, I was looking and (McCartney and I) we had the opportunity to go between racks and meet George and the cast. I saw him in flesh and blood for the first time, and there I was. I thought: ‘My God, I am very impressed.
The Wicked actor described George as “very kind” with him and could not avoid “showing off” by revealing that he was the former emergency protagonist who asked him for a photo, and not vice versa.
He said: “It was very kind. This is to show off, I shouldn’t do it. But he said: ‘Jeff, Jeff Goldblum. I love Jeff Goldblum. Come here, Jeff, we are going to take a picture’, and all those things. I was glad my life and the year.”
Jeff, on the other hand, got rid of praise towards the Beatles and reported how he discovered the rock band – also formed by John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison – in their first years of adolescence.
He added: “Everyone has stories like this. But I was a child when I Want To Hold Your Hand and She Loves You, came out. And I remember Suzy Connolly … with their short jeans shorts, and I was about 12, 13 years old … and they told me: ‘Take, come and listen to this song.
