Jennifer López and the demands for photographs paparazzi

Jennifer Lopez has said nothing.
Jennifer López faces two demands for alleged violation of copyright After publishing two photographs taken by Paparazzi on their social networks without having paid for the images license, Billboard said.
The demands were filed on Saturday, May 17 by the photographer White Edwin and the agency Backgrid USAwho claim to be co -owners of the images captured outside the party prior to the Golden Globes on January 4, in the exclusive Marmont Bar in Los Angeles.
According to lawyer Peter Perkowski, representative of Blanco and Backgrid, Lopez published the photos in his Instagram and X accounts on January 5 without authorization, which caused a wide diffusion by pages of fans and fashion marks, including the synthetic skin shelter designer that the singer and actress carried. According to the judicial documents, Selena’s protagonist’s team was contacted the following week to negotiate an agreement, which included a verbal payment promise, but any contract was never signed or the payment was made.
White and Backgrid now seek compensation of up to $ 150 thousand for each image, under the terms of the federal law of Copyright.
So far, Jennifer López representatives have not issued comments on the case.
