Jennifer López dazzles at the beginning of the AMA 2025 between kisses, dance and technical failures

With a presentation full of energy, sensuality and rhythm, Jennifer López began the expected ceremony of the American Music Awards 2025, marking her return as a driver of the event after a decade and after two years of absence of the awards.

The gala, held in Las Vegas, began with a six -minute show in which JLo showed his artistic versatility by interpreting a remix of the 23 most popular songs of the year.

During his presentation, López combined his characteristic dance movements with a shocking visual production and a choreography that included a kiss of three with his dancers, one of them woman, which unleashed applause and quickly became a trend in social networks.

After his opening show, Jennifer took the microphone to welcome official and highlighted the special character of the AMA, remembering that it is an award in which the public has the last word.

“I had to start with the most popular songs of the year and dance with all my strength for all of you, but tonight, the focus belongs to you, because this is the world’s largest awards ceremony, where fans vote for the winners.”

In this edition three new categories were introduced: album of the year, song of the year and social song of the year. Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with 10 mentions in seven categories, followed by Post Malone with eight, and Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey, with seven each.

However, not everything was perfect. The TNT transmission for Latin America suffered technical problems at the beginning of the event. During Blake Shelton’s musical presentation, the original audio was completely lost, leaving only the public applause as a sound background.

The fault was evident and forced to cut the transmission to go to commercials, a situation that was widely commented on social networks.

Despite the incident, the Ama 2025 started strongly, highlighting the power of the call of Jennifer López.
