Jennifer Lopez joins Robert Zemeckis in a psychological thriller for Netflix

Jennifer Lopez will be the main actress in the film adaptation of The Last Mrs. Parrish, a story of ambition, secrets and deceptions that will arrive soon to Netflix.
The news was released by the specialized media Deadline, and played by Diario Panorama, where it was confirmed that the project is already in development.
The film, based on Liv Constantine’s novel, revolves around a woman with a murky past that decides to infiltrate the life of a wealthy couple to occupy the wife’s place.
Lopez will play this woman, without suspecting that the world he wants so much could be built on an even deeper darkness than his.
Zemeckis, recognized by classics such as Forrest Gump and Back to the Future, will direct this production with a script signed by Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton) and John Gatins, nominated for the Oscar by Flight, also under the direction of Zemeckis.
The collaboration between Lopez and Netflix has been constant in recent years, with titles such as The Mother (2023) and Atlas (2024). The actress and singer also presented at the Kiss of the Spider Woman Festival, a musical led by Bill Condon whose premiere in Salas is scheduled for this fall.
For his part, Zemeckis premiered in 2024 Here, a film that reunited the cast of Forrest Gump and that consolidated his return to dramas with high emotional and visually ambitious content.
