Jennifer Lopez lived an unfortunate moment this Wednesday during the essays for his expected participation in the American Music Awards (AMAS), which will be held on May 26 at the Bleaulive Theater of Las Vegas.
The 55 -year -old artist suffered a spectacular fall that caused her a considerable wound in the bridge of the nose. The injury was serious enough to require immediate medical care, including several suture points.
Lopez himself shared images of the accident in his Instagram stories, in which he appears to apply ice on his face and showing the visible cut in his nose. He accompanied the photos with the phrase: “So … this happened”, making it clear that the incident occurred while rehearsing intensely for the gala. His absolute delivery to artistic perfection seems to have taken its toll this time, although he has also evidenced his resilience.
Aware of the urgency of the situation and its professional commitment, the interpreter of “On The Floor” immediately went to the renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond, with consultation in Beverly Hills.
It was he who took care of the wound and supervise his recovery.
“Thank you for fixing myself. A week later and a lot of ice, and I will be as new.”
As it transcends in places dedicated to the Jennifer López entertainment, he does not stop. He continues with the essays for what promises to be one of the most memorable galas of the year, reaffirming his commitment to artistic excellence.
The ceremony will not only mark his return as host of the event – a role that he did not assume since 2015 – but also a live performance that he has prepared with meticulous detail for weeks. The shared images, although they show the magnitude of the blow, also attest to their tenacity: the scar has almost disappeared and the artist looks as impeccable as ever.
The musical event, one of the most anticipated of the year, will feature big names such as Kendrick Lamar, who leads nominations with 10 mentions. They are followed by Post Malone with 8 and Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey with 7 each.
In the Latin field, artists such as Bad Bunny, Shakira, Karol G, Becky G and Young Miko stand out. In addition, the gala will pay tribute to Janet Jackson, who will receive the ICON Award and perform his first live television performance since 2018.
This setback has not stopped JLo, who, faithful to his unwavering spirit, has reaffirmed that nothing will prevent him from shining on stage. His return as a presenter and main artist not only represents a physical challenge after his accident, but also a clear sample of his professionalism, discipline and passion for the show.
Jennifer Lopez, once again, demonstrates why he remains one of the great divas of world entertainment.
