The last month of spring has saddened us with cold and persistent rains, but music continues to heat our hearts. We have gathered the most interesting musical releases of May 2025 that promise to be the highlight of the year: from the new album of the Pop icon Miley Cyrus and the return of the legend of the Trip-Hop Morcheeba to the first English album of the participants in Eurovision 2025 Ziferblat and the 16 facets of the unpredictable Jerry Heil.

The singer, composer and Ukrainian member of the American Recording Academy Jerry Heil has presented a new long -lasting album “Archetypes”, consisting of 16 songs. Several themes have been co -written by famous musicians: Misha Pravyvyi (Anima Mea), Monatik and Eugene Khmara (“I Begged”), as well as Yarmak (“What floor of the sky are you?”). It should be noted that this last song currently occupies the top 50 Ukrainian Top 50 spotify.
Interestingly, Jerry Heil believes that the album is not just a compilation of his latest works, but a kind of map, each of whose 16 songs represents one of the facets of his personality «Each theme of this album is like a different archetype of me, – Recognizes the singer. –They are not Jungians, but mine: the naive lyrical, the introvert rebel, the playful Jerry of 2019, the nymph … I wonder if you recognize them all. Or maybe you hear something else ».

Ziferblat, the band that represented Ukraine at the Eurovision 2025 festival, has published his second and first album in English. Of Us not only presents the band’s work on the world scene, but also tries to impress listeners with musical experiments on the edge of art rock and funk.
When presenting the album on Instagram, the band said it had been created in the shortest possible time: «This forced us to make a minimum of adjustments, especially to present everything as is. And it is great that everything has come out with this material ».

The mention of American singer and composer Suzanne Vega will surely evoke nostalgic emotions among older listeners. After all, in 1990, a remix of his song Tom’s Digno of the duo of British DJ DNA became extremely popular and became a success of the Ukrainian discos for a long time. Flying With Angels is Suzanne’s tenth long -term album and the first collection of original songs from his concert “Tales From the Realm of the Queen of Pentacles” of 2014.
The Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis announced the launch of her fifth studio album Sincelely Mysteros Teasen who whispers “sleep with a home where even time stops. A place where everything goes as it should ».

After a four -year parenthesis, the composer, arranger and vocalist of The Maneken, Yevhen Filatov, has published his fifth studio album, “Nova was.” The reason for this delay is clear when it is known that the project began to work before the pandemic, and that more than 50 artists worked on it in studies and online through zoom.
This also caused the concert to be quite eclectic: among its 14 themes, you can find samples of completely different styles, from the wonderful and optimistic album “Walker” (my favorite) to Soul “New Era” and Rap “Until It’s Over”. According to Yevhen, the funky sound of the album is a memory of the happy times of peace and represents the hope of his return.

The title of the album refers to a device that Stepan wanted to build as a child to see dreams on the TV screen. According to the interpreter, this image became a metaphor of his reflections on the unknown and the exploration of the hidden parts of his own personality.
