Joaquín Ferreira, between comedy and spirituality, in “Technoboys. What is the film about?

The next day, it was already within the project. In the movie, Joaquín plays Leoone of the five band memberswho in his youth was known as “the handsome one” of the group.

About his choice for this role, Ferreira says: “Luis wanted me for that particular character, he liked me a lot. how I do comedyand this is a comedy 100 percent; So, I didn’t have to choose, it was directly that character”.

Leo is a complex character who, after the rise of fame, immersed himself in a deep depression and drug addiction. For Ferreira, Leo’s story goes beyond what is shown on the screen.

“He opened himself to a spiritual awakening and eventually became a shaman. When Alan, the character of Luis Gerardo Méndezhe will look for it reunite the bandfinds Leo living with his family in Tulum, in complete harmony with nature”he explains.

Although this transformation is not addressed directly in the film, Ferreira worked hard to build this background.

The challenges of dancing, singing and doing comedy in “Technoboys”

Ferreira also revealed some of the challenges you faced during the filming of Technoboys: “I didn’t know I could dance and do group choreography. we had to train a lotpractice a lot so that they look good, because we made several video clips where we had to dance very, very well and together. I also didn’t know I could sing, so I had to study my vocalization”, confesses the actor.
