Jojo Siwa He has nothing but good memories of the time he took care of the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian, North West.
“I took a bit of her,” said Siwa, 22, in the episode on Thursday, June 5 of the podcast “Rosebud with Gyles Brandreth.” “His daughter North West was a big fan at that time. He was little, he was only 5 years old.”
Upon learning that North, now with 11 years, was a Siwanator, the singer contacted Kardashian, 44, to organize a meeting. “I think I said, ‘If North would ever want to be in a video, I would love to have it. I make these nanny videos. I usually do it with youtubers children, but I could do it for fun with North. It would be great, super easy. I wouldn’t even know that we are filming. It will only be a fun meeting. Let me know if you are ever interested,” he said.
Kardashian loved the idea and even proposed his own. “She said, ‘Oh, my God, I would love it. Could we film it for my program?” Siwa recalled. “I said, ‘Your program, Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Yes of course.’ And yes, (they were) so quiet, so sweet, so accessible, very pleasant, good people. ”
Siwa appeared in an episode of the 17th season of the iconic reality series of the Kardashian-Jenner family in 2019. In the program, Kardashian said Siwa communicated with her after she shared a North video receiving a gift package with the Siwa hair tapes.
However, Kardashian expressed doubts that North appeared on Siwa’s YouTube channel. “Although he has met people who really liked him before, I think that having that in addition to a YouTube team filming him and in Jojo’s house, something that sees on YouTube all the time, it could be overwhelming for her,” he said in a confession. “There is a difference when it is in our program. Know everyone in the team and is always with the family, so we can really control what we film and what we do.”
While watching Northa’s meeting with Siwa, Kardashian worried about her daughter’s shyness before the camera. After a brief video call with a friend, North began to get out of her shell, so much that she caught her mother’s attention in the program in a hilarious way.
“My mother says you shout a lot,” North told Siwa, which made the last one laugh. “She is exposing you right now.”
In Siwa’s YouTube video of his meeting with North – who was published in March 2019 – the duo played hide and slime, he danced together and explored Siwa’s colorful house. “What did you like most about the day?” Siwa asked Northa, which she responded hilariously, “to make a great disorder.”
Siwa has praised Kardashian’s parental skills over the years, calling her a “very good mom” during an interview in May 2019 in Today. “She has given me some very good advice.
