THE NEW DIARIO, GEORGIA.- A Judge of the State of Georgia failed in favor of rapper offset in the divorce process he maintains with the also cardi B artist, ordering that he pays conjugal maintenance after the end of the marriage.
According to a note published by last minute, Offset justified its application based on the standard of living that it sustained during the relationship and on the marked difference in heritage between them. It is estimated that Cardi B has a fortune that ranges between 80 and 100 million dollars, well above the nearly 30 million attributed to its now ex -husband.
The court also addressed issues related to the custody of the three children they share. Although shared legal custody was established, the main residence of minors will be with Cardi B, a disposition that would have been proposed by the offset itself. The rapper argued that children “would have greater stability with their mother.”
As for legal costs, the judge determined that each party must cover its own, as agreed in the initial stages of the process.
To date, neither Cardi B nor offset have offered public statements about the judicial decision. However, the artist has been seen recently accompanied by the NFL player, Stefon Diggs, which some interpret as signs of a new stage in her personal life.
Cardi B and Offset initiated their relationship in 2017, marked by a series of ups and downs, reconciliations and separations that occupied headlines for years.
