Katy Perry defends criticism – culture and fashion

Katy Perry defended himself from the criticisms that her new tour and her recent trip to space is generating, stating that she is faithful to herself, “with an open and honest heart”, due to the link he has with his fans.

The American singer wrote a long response to an advertisement made by fans congratulating her for finishing the first week of her “Lifestal” tour, amid the reaction on the tour and her recent trip to space.

Perry responded to a video on a fan account on Instagram, writing in a comment that is able to stay faithful to herself, “with an open and honest heart,” due to the link he has with his fans.

“Please know that I’m fine, I have worked hard to know who I am, what is real and what is important for me,” he said.

“My therapist said something years ago that it has been a change of play: ‘No one can make you believe something about yourself that you don’t believe about yourself,’ and if I ever have any feeling about it, then it is an opportunity to investigate the feeling behind it.”

“When the world ‘Online’ tries to make me a human piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, because I know that many people are suffering in many ways and the Internet is a landfill for the deranged ones and they have not healed,” he continued.

Perry said what is real for her is to see her fans in the crowd every night, “singing in unison and feeling your warmth.”

“I find people with whom to close their eyes and sing and I know that we are healing each other in a small way when I do that,” he said. “I am not perfect, and I have actually omitted that word of my vocabulary, I am on a human trip playing the game of life with a audience of many and sometimes I fall, but … I get up and continue and keep playing the game,” he added.

Perry’s comment came after his tour “Lifes” began on April 23 in Mexico City.

Since then, the singer has faced criticism for the choreography and the scenic design of the show by the users of online social networks.

Earlier this month, Perry was also part of the female flight crew that made a trip of approximately 10 minutes to space aboard a Blue Origin spacecraft. The flight quickly generated controversy, since many people and fast food companies and celebrities, such as actresses Olivia Munn and Emily Ratajkowski, questioned the sustainability of a trip to space.

“What is the point?” Munn said. “Is it historical for you to take a walk? I think it is a bit glutton.

Perry did not respond directly to the criticisms of the flight, but several of his crew companions such as Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King and Aisha Bowe did so during a press conference on April 14.

“I’m not going to let the joy stole us, but most people are very excited and encourage us and realize what this mission means for young women, girls and boys too,” King said.
