Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez and other women are ready to go to space

The NS-31 mission of Blue Origin, composed of women such as Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Gayle King, Katy Perry, Kerianne Flynn and Lauren Sánchez, is projected to take off from West Texas on Monday, April 14.

The launch of the eleventh manned flight will be from West Texas and everything is ready to take advantage of the take -off window, which begins at 8:30 am on Monday, announced Blue Origin.
The company owned by Jeff Bezos has already sent 52 people on the Kármán line, which is considered the border of the atmosphere and external space.
Mission 31 of the New Shepard program – the ship that transports to the crew – is the manned and will be the first mission whose crew will be fully composed of women from the space trip that Valentina Tereshkova made alone in 1963, the company said.
The mission already has an emblem patch, which was designed on purpose symbolizing in particular this crew.

Who are the crew
Aisha Bowe: Root scientist at the Bahamas and who worked at NASA, Bowe is a general director of the Stemboard engineering firm, founder of Lingo, a technological education company.
Amanda Nguyen: Harvard graduate, where the center of astrophysics led, Nguyen worked on the last mission of NASA’s space ferry and the Kepler mission of exoplanets. She is also a businesswoman, activist and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. It is also the first Vietnamese astronaut.
Gayle King: journalist and presenter of CBS MorningsKing also has the program Gayle King in the House In Siriusxm. King has a decades in the media and is widely recognized.
Katy Perry: As a world recognized pop star is the artist with the greatest sales in the history of the Capitol Records label. Perry has made activism in favor of various philanthropic causes, including work with UNICEF and its own organization, Firework Foundation.
Kerianne Flynn: After a successful career in the fashion world, he has been dedicated to service to the community for years. Flynn has been a producer of various films.
Lauren Sánchez: Journalist and writer, Sánchez is Vice President of Bezos Earth Fund. He is also a helicopter pilot and has an aerial film production company. His first book entitled The Fly Who Flew To Space (The fly that flew to space) was published in 2024.
