Katy Perry ridiculed by her space costume on the Lifetime tour after the Blue Origin flight debacle
Katy Perry’s fans were “Hot N Cold” for the costumes outside this singer’s world on her Lifetime Tour tour. Perry, 40, presented a galactic set to start its first tour in almost seven years after the fiasco of its New Shepard spatial mission of Blue Origin.
The “Wide Awake” singer showed some skin with the futuristic outfit – which included boots to the thighs and a heart trimmed along the chest – to dismay the users of social networks.
Perry first premiered his personalized Zaldy suit at the Mexico City stop of his fifth tour in support of his album “143”, which went on sale in 2024.
On April 14, the singer of “Roar” was part of an exclusively female team, which included journalist Lauren Sanchez, the television presenter the film producer Kerianne Flynn, former coheetologist Nasa Aisha Bowe and the activist for civil rights Amanda Nguyen, who traveled to the stars in the New Shepard mission of Blue Origin.
After its 11 -minute trip to space, the crew received intense reactions from climatic activists and other celebrities.
“Can you please go back to space … and stay there?” Perry asked a user in X, while another wrote: “Is this the astronaut version?”
“Is this what happens after going to space and returning?” Asked another user of social networks. “Katy Perry and other ‘Divas’ put on their tight blue costumes, they made up, smoothed their hair, their lips were painted and then they took a very expensive walk,” wrote an user X.
“Cringe. Desperate. Narcissist. But still yesterday,” said a follower, and a user wrote: “This made me less fond of ‘space’ and the ‘science’.”
The comments were limited to Instagram, which showed mostly positive comments for Perry’s team.
“I love it!” He wrote a fan, while others published Emojis of Fire and Hearts. “You are fabulous with this costume, mom. Good show tonight! You are the light! I love you,” wrote another admirer.
Apparently, Perry silenced negative criticism during the opening night of his tour when he asked the public: “Has anyone ever called their dreams crazy?”
In a Pop star invited two men from the public who arrived dressed in space costumes.

“I want these gentlemen to go on stage, because they are dressed as my most current temporal line,” he said.
Gayle King television presenter, who was honored at the 19th Annual Gala Time100 on Thursday night, Fox News Digital said how it was flying with high -level women and described what her next mission will be.
“It was Katy, it was Lauren, they were names that you know, but for me, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, Carrie Anne Flynn, these women who were rocket scientists … astrophysics … filmmakers and all their background stories, for me it was such a unifying experience for all of us,” King said. “We will never forget it.”
He added: “Today we were in a text messages chain saying: We have to go to the Katy concert. What city can we go and when? That is our next group activity.”
