Katy Perry to a fan: “Stop sending messages to my husband”

During one of his presentations, Pop star Katy Perry left the microphone on the side for a moment and approached a specific stage of the stage. There, between lights and screams, he bent down to firmly go to a young fan of which he apparently had previous information. The show took an unexpected turn and quickly caught the public’s attention.

With an ironic tone but obvious discomfort, the artist pointed directly to a young man among the crowd: “Oh yes, pretty smile. I know why you are here what? No, no, no. Listen. If you continue sending direct messages to my man (…).” The phrase was received with amazement and laughs from those present, who did not expect such personal interaction.
“I am his and he is mine”
Far from stopping, the interpreter of “Firework” continued with her monologue, visibly outraged but maintaining a performative tone that was raising the intensity of the moment. “Oh Kyle. I know, you were doing this for months, from the residence. You did not come to see me sing. If you keep sending direct messages to my man, I will have to make you out,” he threw without hesitation, while the cameras recorded the scene.
Then, his hair settled and finished the intervention with an affirmation that started applause and cheers of the public: “Seriously, get your own life. I am his wife.” Accompanied by the fervor of his fans, Katy managed to make the claim in a moment of communion with the audience, which he chanted with her: “I am his and he is mine.”
Although the initial tension could be interpreted as a real complaint, the atmosphere was changing as the fan – identified as Kyle – began to laugh and enjoy the exchange. The cameras captured their excited face, which generated even more sympathy among the attendees. Everything seems to indicate that it was an elaborate joke or humorous transition between songs.
A special order and an unforgettable memory
As it transpired, the episode would have begun when Kyle asked the singer to play her favorite song, and for that – as part of the joke – she would have resorted no less than Orlando Bloom. This situation triggered Perry’s theatrical reaction, which stole the night and was replicated in social networks by thousands of fans.
Days later, Kyle himself offered statements to a British media in which he was fun for the experience: “Now I have the memory of my life’s concert. Hopefully I forgive me for sending a direct message to his man and allows me to return to his next show,” he said with a laugh, making it clear that there were no resentments. And he added with mischief: “In my time of break homes.”
