Kendrick Lamar leads the list of artists nominated for the 2025 edition of the American Music Awards.
This Wednesday the list of nominees to the American Music Awards were announced, which has rapper Kendrick Lamar as the most nominated solo artist of this year, appearing in 10 categories.
For its part, the Californian Group of Mexican Regional Music, governed force, is the group with the most nominations, with three, followed by Linkin Park and Twenty One Pilots, with two each.
Lamar, who already has three Ama awards in his career, could match Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston as the artists with more awards in a single year if he wins in the eight categories.
With 8 nominations, he is post Malone, with seven mentions are Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey. While Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Wallen, Sza and Sabrina Carpenter close the top of maximum nominated with 6 candidates.
The 51st edition of Los Amas, with Jennifer Lopez as host, will be broadcast live from Las Vegas on Monday, May 26.
