The businesswoman and figure will appear on Monday, May 13 before the Court that judges those responsible for the robbery, which occurred between the night of the 2 and the morning of October 3, 2016, during the Paris Fashion Week. At that time, the celebrity stayed in a luxury apartment.

According to his French lawyers Léonor Hennerick and Jonathan Mattout, the star wants to appear personally “to face those who attacked her.” The defenders said that Kardashian will do it “with dignity and courage.” The American lawyer Michael Rhodes also represents it in the process.
Legal representatives declined to reveal details of the testimony. They indicated that they want the public to listen to the facts “with Kardashian’s words.”

During the assault, The thieves entered armed to accommodation, tied and gagged Kardashian and threatened her to gunpoint. Then they fled with jewels whose value exceeded nine million euros. Among the stolen pieces was a diamond ring that Kanye West, then her husband, had given her. That jewel had an estimated price of $ 4 million.
Kim Kardashian, 44, said he was “particularly grateful” with the French authorities for the attention received since the beginning of the judicial process.
“It will comply with the process and answer all the questions of the court,” said their lawyers.

The trial began on April 28. The first week was dedicated to reviewing the background of the ten defendants. Most of them are between 60 and 70 years old, which led the French press to call them “the grandparents thieves.” They have a criminal record and their profile reminds the criminals of the black film films of the sixties and seventies.

Five of the defendants face charges for participating directly in the robbery. Six others are charged as accomplices. One of the aforementioned died before the start of the trial. Another 81 -year -old will be acquitted for advanced dementia.
Among the defendants, Abbas and Aomar Ait Khedache, 68, confessed their participation in the robbery. The rest denies it.
This week, the court will listen to the investigators and several witnesses. On Monday, May 13, it will be the turn of the civil parties, which include the hotel receptionist, the Kim Kardashian assistant and the celebrity itselfwhose testimony will generate great media attention.
