Kim Kardashian will testify at the trial for the theft of his jewels in Paris

Mexico City; May 5.- Kim Kardashian prepares to face face to face with those responsible for the theft of her jewels in Paris in 2016.
This was reported on Monday to the AFP agency their lawyers, who confirmed that the celebrity will travel to the French capital on May 13 to testify at the trial against thieves.

According to their legal representatives in France, Léonor Hennerick and Jonathan Mattout – who work together with the American lawyer Michael Rhodes -, the businesswoman has the firm intention of appearing personally in court to see the accused.
“He wants to attend the trial in person and look at those responsible directly. He will do it with courage and dignity,” said the lawyers.
The lawyers avoided advancing details of the testimony that Kardashian will give, claiming that “they prefer that their version of the events be heard directly from their mouth.”
During her speech, the businesswoman will report what she lived on the night of October 2 to 3, 2016, when she was tied and kidnapped in the hotel room where she stayed on the occasion of Fashion Week in Paris.
In that assault, jewels valued at nine million dollars were stolen, among which was a diamond ring that her then husband, rapper Kanye West.
At 44, Kardashian feels “especially grateful” for the work carried out by the French authorities and for the treatment received throughout the judicial process.

The profile of the defendants evokes thieves of classic films of French cinema of the 60s and 70s, characterized by their discretion, preparation and their own codes.
Some of them already had sentences for similar robberies, which reinforces the image of a professional band. Attached by the press as “the grandparents of the crime”, these men starred in one of the most media robberies of the last decade, during the Paris fashion week.
The assault occurred in a private luxury hotel, where several of the defendants – struggling of police – threatened and locked Kardashian, fleeing with their jewels valued at nine million dollars.
The group is made up of men between 60 and 70 years, with previous sentences for high profile robberies. Among them is Yunis Abbas, who has even given interviews after crime and was released for health reasons.
For May 13, the declaration of the civil parties is scheduled, including the hotel receptionist, Kardashian’s personal assistant and, finally, Kim herself, whose testimony is expected to generate great media attention. Finally, the court ruling will be known on May 23.
