Guadalajara, Jal.- Katy Perry took his Instagram to pronounce on the cancellation of his concerts of May 1 and 2 at the Guadalajara Arena. There, the singer pointed out that the enclosure is not finished and is not safe to receive the public or their show.

In a story, the Californian replicated the press release of Zignia Live (concert promoting company) and added a personal message in which she explained her position after knowing the situation of the enclosure.

“Unfortunately, I learned that the construction of the Guadalajara sand will not be complete for scheduled shows next week, which includes mine of May 1 and 2,” Perry wrote.

The “Roar” singer said she sent her technical team to the place to check if there was an alternative.

“Last week I sent my team to the Arena to make sure there was no something we could do to make this happen, but it was evident, when they arrived, that the place was not ready or safe to receive my show or an audience.

“I wish I could fix this, but you are out of my control. You mean the world for me and we have all been on such a beautiful trip together that I will be thinking about how I can create something special for fans in Guadalajara in the future. I love you all,” Perry concluded, who has scheduled three concerts in CDMX and two in the Monterrey.

The ticket refund process is active from today. Those who bought online tickets will receive the return automatically.
