MYSTERIES

Manny Manuel and Gisselle Ortiz will release the song “Where will you be?” – Metro Puerto Rico

Manny Manuel and Gisselle Ortiz made a meeting of friends that has resulted in a tasty merengue that will premiere on January 21, 2025, on all digital music platforms. It is the song “Where will you be?”, which marks the first time that these great friends and loved ones from Puerto Rico join their voices to record together.

“Giselle is a sister that life has given me and, as soon as I had this song in my hands and saw that it was ideal for a duet, I told myself ‘I don’t have a song with Giselle yet.’ So I called her, I asked her and she said yes,” El Rey de Corazones narrated about the beginning of this new adventure that includes the recording of a music video together, which also premieres on the 21st.

“Where will you be?” It is the second composition that Rafito Díaz, from the Dominican Republic, writes for Manny Manuel. The song narrates the search for a love that is lost, that at some point was and with which there is still a special connection that invites us to continue searching for it. It is a production by Jay Lugo under Jay Records.

“It is a topic that is very sticky. It has everything: it has lyrics, it has a hook, it’s pretty. I think it is a well-rounded song, quite complete in all aspects,” said Giselle about what the public can expect from the song.

Both artists recorded the video together in the facilities of the Luis María Arcelay theater, in Caguas, under the direction of Zachary Apellido. “We had super cool chemistry. Because we love each other so much, we hesitated and the director had a lot of fun with us. The result was a really very simple, humble production, but well crafted with a lot of love and that is demonstrated through the video,” Manny said about the experience.

The merengue singer, for her part, said she was very excited to be able to work with her great friend after so many years. “Working with Manuel is always fun. We always have a good time and, because of the trust we have in each other, it becomes easier for us. It was something we wanted to do for a long time and it finally happened to us,” he said.

The theme “Where will you be?” will be available on all digital music platforms and the video will be available on YouTube.

Is the merengue singer Gisselle missing?

In a video published on social networks last Sunday, January 12, 2025, merenguero Manny Manuel assured that he was looking for the singer Gisselle Ortiz, who was supposedly “missing.”

The so-called “King of Hearts” went to their digital platforms to request citizen help in order to find the whereabouts of the “I want to be with you” interpreter.

“Hello gentlemen, excuse me. I’m stopping by because we’re calling my friend Gisselle and no one can get her. I make this video, please if anyone gets it, knows about it or has seen it, please let us know, by private message or by my phone. If anyone knows about Gisselle, the merengue singer, please let me know through my phone or send me a private message. Thank you all very much. Be well, thank you all,” Manny said in a video clip he posted on his Instagram account.

The artist later deleted the video. Then, the 55-year-old woman appeared posting a story on the same social network with the following message: “Why did you forget the promises you once made to me?”, along with an image of a broken heart.

This morning, the “Como Duele” singer took to his social networks again to confirm that he continues to look for Gisselle and that he is waiting for the authorities to give him details of where she is.

“It’s worrying, Gisselle still hasn’t shown up. We called the Police and are waiting for confirmation. Thank you all very much for your concerns,” Manny expressed in the new video.

At the moment, neither of them has confirmed if it is the promotion of a collaboration. However, followers have not taken the publications in a good way.

“This is not funny!!!! If it’s a way to promote a song, you’re going to lose the little respect your fans still have for you” and “You don’t play with that… I saw your story and I really don’t find the joke in this,” were some of the featured messages.
