Mayor of Washington DC sends unexpected message to Shakira after the cancellation of his concerts

Days after the Colombian singer Shakira spoke about the recent cancellations of two of her concerts as part of her tour ‘Women no longer cry’ in Boston and Washington DC, Muriel Bowser, mayor of the US capital, made an important request.
In the midst of a public act, the president demonstrated her admiration and taste for Shakira’s music to the point of asking the Colombian to reschedule her canceled concert.
“Shakira, come here. You have the rest of the week to come. Come here, we love you. We want to see you. We want to work and have a party with you,” Muriel said.
The Colombian confirmed the cancellations of her concerts scheduled in Boston and Washington DC in the United States due to technical motifs.
“We want to see you. We want to dance with you, celebrate with you. But we will do it anyway,” Bowser added.
For its part, the Colombian star shared a statement through her official Instagram account in which she apologized and revealed how much these interruptions affect her as an artist.
“Nothing is more painful for an artist than having to cancel concerts with full stadiums, such as Boston and Washington, for reasons beyond the control of one,” said the Colombian artist.
“Thank you for being there in the good times and the not so good. We have sailed together for every pump of the road and you have always taken me to the other side,” he added.
The Colombian closed her message, broadcast in a history of social networks, with a blunt “I want them with everything” that she wrote in Spanish with the end to the writing that until that line was in English.
Shakira began his adventure in North America, in the United States and Canada, last Tuesday, May 13 in Charlotte, in a presentation that had as its main attraction an interpretation that made its success ‘the torture’ with Spanish Alejandro Sanz.
