According to an announcement from Customs and Border Protection, CBP One went down at 12 p.m. ET. It’s just a small part of Trump’s promises to implement sweeping reforms at the southern border starting on the first day of his second term.
The application allowed tens of thousands of immigrants to enter the United States. Up to 1,450 immigrants per day were able to schedule immigration appointments and apply for asylum in the United States through the app.
