Miley Cyrus confessed her childhood obsession with an actor and chose her favorite films




Among other confessions, the 32 -year -old singer said that during her childhood she was “obsessed” with Leonardo DiCaprio, to the point of having sheets with her face and a cell phone cover with her image.

The moment was given during a “recommendations” film roulette. When mentioning a nostalgic film by Pijamadas, Miley did not hesitate: Romeo + Juliet (1996), directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring a young DiCaprio. “When I was a child, my sister and I had equal Leo sheets. We were obsessed with him,” he confessed with a laugh, although he clarified: “The young Leo only!”

In the interview, Cyrus also shared other cinephile elections. As a more “citable” film, he chose the classic heavy girls (Mean Girls, 2004), and as the best musical adaptation, he leaned down “in one hundred percent” by Cats. In addition, he highlighted director Luca Guadagnino for his work in challenging (2024), starring Zendaya, and pointed out that he pays special attention to filmmakers who use music in a creative way.

When choosing a novel action, Lara Croft mentioned: Tomb Raider, although he later recalled that he was actually released in 2001. “I guarantee you that is 2001 because I know what (Angelina Jolie) was using in the premiere,” he joked.

In a more emotional moment, he chose to stay by my side (Stepmom, 1998), with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, like the ideal film for “when you need a good crying.” Then, he cited a phrase from another Roberts movie, Steel Magnolias (Steel Magnolias), which he says usually with his stylist: “You know that I love you more than my luggage.”

Finally, when asked what film made her fall in love with the cinema, broke the mold and did not appoint a title, but an actress: Michelle Pfeiffer. “It was an actress who made me fall in love with cinema. I wanted to be an actress, she wanted to be like her,” he concluded.
