Miley Cyrus premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival its new pop Subject Beautiful Opera, an audiovisual proposal that accompanies the launch of its ninth album.
During the presentation, made at the Beacon Theater in New York, the artist referred to the central concept of the project: “The word ‘beautiful’ is very individual. It can mean something different for each person: a memory, someone dear, an object or one moment,” he said.

The singer was accompanied by her mother, Tish Cyrus, and her partner, the Maxx Moxx Muro. Miley arrived at the event with a golden mesh dress and a frog coat. Throughout the projection, he was smiling and animated, he even sang and danced from his seat. The public, composed largely by fans, celebrated its presence with ovations and orders, including a brief interpretation of The Climb, which Cyrus agreed to sing.
The documentary, co -directed by the artist with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, presents the thirteen songs of the new album through different visual segments. Each piece is accompanied by a staging that addresses different themes, from the Renaissance (Reborn) to introspection and sensuality.
In the musical, the work combines ballads (more to lise), pop themes (Easy Lover), Disco influences (Walk of Fame) and psychedelic moments in two instrumental interludes.
The project also includes a collaboration with the Naomi Campbell Supermodel in the video of Event Girl You’ve Ever Loved, visually inspired by Vogue de Madonna.
On the other hand, Cyrus highlighted the role of the costumes within the work. He used designs by Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen and pieces of the Thierry Mugler file. According to the singer, much of the budget was allocated to the costume design, since it considers it a fundamental narrative tool: “Fashion can accompany music without oversight,” he said.
