‘End of the World’ arrives with another shocking and simple video, which gives life to the unique aesthetics of the project. The official video shows Miley in her element, on stage, with the microphone in her hand, remembering her performance in the Grammys of 2024. Miley wears an original customary mugler of Casey Cadwallader.
It is possible that Miley fans recognize ‘End of the World’ for their exclusive invitation in the Chateau Marmont, where he often experienced interpreting unpublished and original music for a small and carefully selected audience.
‘End of the World’ binds to the first two songs and visuals presented by Miley, ‘Prelude’ and ‘Submit Beautiful’, which revealed the first bars of the album. These songs mark the beginning of a carefully structured trip.
Miley Cyrus will publish his expected studio album, Submithing Beautiful, on May 30, 2025. Produced by Miley Cyrus and Shawn Everett, the 13 songs album will be accompanied by a visual film that will be released in June. The film is produced by Miley Cyrus, Xyz Films and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records and Live Nation, and directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter.
The album cover, made by Glen Luchford, shows Cyrus dressed in a 1997 Thierry Mugler suit, a garment that also appears in the ‘Prelude’ video. Fashion occupies a central place in the film, with original custom designs by Casey Cadwalader for Mugler that are shown in ‘Something Beautiful’ and ‘End of the World’. The visual film also presents the largest loan of archive pieces by Thierry Mugler ever granted to a single person, along with unusual designs by Jean Paul Gaultier, tailored designs by Alexander McQueen and Alaïa. The director of photography Benoît must give life to the shocking visual effects of the project, deepening in its envelope narration.
With Something Beautiful, Miley Cyrus continues to exceed artistic limits, merging music, fashion and cinema in a unique cinematographic experience.
