Miley Cyrus reveals that she ended in intensive care after recording her new music video

Miley Cyrus surprised her audience during a recent appearance in Jimmy Kimmel Live! When confessing that she was hospitalized emergency in intensive care after contracting a serious leg infection while recording her most recent audiovisual project, part of the launch of her ninth studio album entitled Subject Beautifulwhich will see the light on May 30.
The singer reported that, due to budgetary restrictions within production – described as a “pop opera driven by fantasy” -, she decided to film a key scene of the music video on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame at night, hoping to avoid crowds. However, the decision had unexpected consequences for his health.
“I recorded this video in October and, for November, on Thanksgiving, I ended up at the ICU for a moment,” explained the interpreter of Flowers. Although he clarified that his admission to intensive care was also due to the hospital saturation on that festive date, the infection he suffered was serious enough to require immediate attention.
“My leg began to disintegrate … in the area of the kneecap. And then the doctor asked me: ‘Do you have an idea of why it has such a serious infection in the bruis?’” Cyrus recalled, among nerve laughs. It was then that he revived the image of herself dancing on the floor of the Paseo de la Fama. “I had to tell him what I did. And that a surgeon looked at you and says: ‘What disgust!
The most ironic thing is that the situation could have been avoided. The artist confessed that, although she began with a considerable budget for the project, she decided to spend almost everything on costumes, which left her without funds to process official permits or close streets for the recording. “They told me: ‘Are you going to rent the space or what? That is out of your budget.’ And I: ‘No, let’s go in the middle of the night’.
Cyrus admitted to feeling something ashamed of telling such a little glamorous story behind a project that he expected to be visually “fabulous.” However, driver Jimmy Kimmel interrupted her to put things in perspective: “No, what you have told everyone is that you sacrifice yourself for this, that you almost gave your life for this project.”
Subject Beautifulboth in his record version and in his visual format, promises to mark a new milestone in Miley Cyrus’s career. With a more introspective, artistic and risky approach, the project will be released on a large screen on June 12, consolidating a bold chapter in the creative evolution of the American artist.
